Learning Community Health Check HOW HEALTHY ARE YOUR LEARNING COMMUNITIES?
HOW HEALTHY ARE YOUR LEARNING COMMUNITIES? LEARNING COMMUNITIES A learning community is a group of people in your company that you tend to contact for advice or for an explanation when trying to learn something new or confirm your understanding about something you need to know for your job. Learning communities are sometimes referred to as ‘professional communities’ or ‘communities of practice’. You may have been assigned to a community by your organisation, or you may have self-selected your community – both types of community are valid for this Health Check.
HOW HEALTHY ARE YOUR LEARNING COMMUNITIES? A "healthy" learning community is one that is doing well or very well on 75% of the best practices (in the toolkit) that are considered important by learning community sponsors, champions, and members.
