Jõhvi Concert Hall as an employer of young people • Since 2005 we have been employing local youngsters during school year; • All together we have provided work for 140 young people; • Youngsters go through training in client service. During their work they are constantly observed and given feedback • We provide them with uniforms and work environment.

  3. Jõhvi Concert Hall as an employer of young people • Every autumn there is a selection process, which is extremely popular; • Choices are made based on age, activness and attitude; • During the season ca 7 people drop out mainly due to their own passiveness

  4. Jõhvi Concert Hall as an employer of young people • We value: • 1. Basic politeness (starts from homes) • 2. Correctness and following our service standard and rules • 3. CREATIVITY in dealing with situations • Preconditions: • - activness in knowing more, initiative and courage; • - knowing Estonian, Russian and English; • - progress at school.

  5. Young people say.... • 1. Better communication skills, possibility for teamwork, bigger self-discipline, realising responsibility, self-confidence. • 2. Work experience, which gives an advantage in the future. • 3. Growing interest in culture (music school, dance practice, organising events) • 4. More friends and aquaintances
