The Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts & Literacy in History/Social Studies, Science, and Technical Subjects http://www.corestandards.org/ELA-Literacy
Defining Features Literacy is shared by all disciplines. Focus is on results rather than means. Research and media skills are blended into all learning. What the Standards are NOT Guidelines for HOW to teach. All-inclusive (especially of advanced and intervention work). Designed to exclude anyone from learning.
