  3. History • In 1993 the first WELS missionaries began work in Novosibirsk. • In 1994 the first members of the Russian church were confirmed. • In 2014 two Russian pastors were ordained. • We look forward to celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Russian Lutheran Church in October 2014.
