  1. HIDY-TIDY Litter Box Furniture is a patented and unique product! Cats love their Hidy-Tidy. You and your cats will discover Hidy-Tidy is simply the worlds best litter Box. The Hidy-Tidy litter box, is dedicated to my loyal little companion Tazzy, who lovingly shared 13 years life with me. She passed away on August 16, 1999. There is still a void in my life without her. After placing the litter pan in my bathtub for a year, I finally constructed a piece of furniture that hid the litter box. It turned out to be the perfect solution. A “hidden and tidy” place for the Cat litter box.

  2. The Hidy-Tidy is an attractive and versatile piece of furniture. It blends with other pieces of furniture which make it easy to hide in plain sight. 1 – The reason they work so well is that there are two openings so cats feel safe entering the furniture. They instinctively know they have an escape route. Cats entering the one hole litter boxes on the market today; usually go in, turn around and look out. They realize they are vulnerable against attack. Many cats will not even use covered boxes for this reason. Also the two openings create a fresh air flow which is extremely important in removing odors. 2 – Waterproofed inside and out with two coats of polyurethane. Polyurethane is used on boats and outdoor decks. Very durable and strong. Resists scratches. And every inside joint is caulked. Both of these procedures insure that odors and moisture do not seep into the wood. 3 – The ledge is a patented feature – it keeps excess scratched litter inside the furniture – not on the floor. Also makes it easy to remove the litter pan for cleaning.

This is a very hard wood with natural knot holes that can be enhanced by adding turquoise stones. The knot holes and turquoise stones are unique with every cabinet. Cabinets with Turquoise stones are available in all finishes Each cat litter cabinet is a unique piece of art and will vary from the photo because of the individual size and shape of the knotholes in the Alder wood and the size and shape of the turquoise stones used.

  4. This Cat Litter Furniture is designed for very large cats or cats that spray or stand up to pee. Also ideally suited for cats that like to scratch, scratch and scratch! Holds a plastic 56 qt. Sterilite container (23″ L x 16″ W x 12″ D). Compartment for bags included. Dual openings are 16.5″ from floor. Normal, active cats have no problem getting into this pan.

  5. Ten years ago, I came across the Hidy Tidy at a cat show. I thought it was very innovative and the cabinets looked quite well made and sturdy. I was thinking about getting a covered cat box because my two cats constantly tracked out lots of litter, or worse, missed the box entirely. So I purchased the E style cabinet and set it up as a second “bathroom” for the cats. The cats took to the Hidy Tidy straight away and preferred it over the covered box I eventually bought to replace the open one.
