OBJECTIVE ADA Site TL TL SL AR AR R R G G LD LD LD SECURITY AA SECURITY SECURITY SECURITY SQUAD RECON (Area) – Conducted to obtain information about a specified location and the area around it. -In an area reconnaissance, the squad uses surveillance or vantage-points around the objective from which to observe it and the surrounding area. Planning Considerations and sequence of actions: • The leader may include a surveillance team in his • recon of the objective from the ORP. • -If required the leaders positions other surveillance elements • about the objective. • -After observing the objective for a specified time, all • elements return to the RP and ORP and report their • observations to the leader or the recorder. • -Once all information is collected, it is disseminated to • every soldier.
