  2. KNOWING THE FACTS • This presentation has been created to give you a better perspective of the features and benefits that Club Car offers in the Precedent Electric Product. Many of these features also relate to the Gas Precedent. • In addition the areas in colorgive you specific key selling points against the competition and ways to sell against them. • The presentation is sequenced in a way so it coincides with a walk around demonstration. You will notice the first slide is the Monsoon top, body, then bumpers etc. • The competition tends to water down the facts. This presentation will enable you to talk directly towards the propaganda the competition tends to promote. • This presentation is not intended to be copied or e mailed in it’s entirety to customers. It is your training tool for your benefit. • It is always prudent to practice demonstrating features and benefits prior to doing them in front of Customers. When doing a side by side comparison it is important that you know the features and benefits, like the back of your hand. It is always better to be safe than sorry. • Good Luck and Good Selling

  3. MONSOON CANOPY TOP • Club Car’s exclusive integrated canopy drainage system eliminates standing water and flood-like effects at vehicle take off. Water is channeled away and drains through the rear canopy supports, exiting under the rear wheel. • Crowned drainage screens keep canopy supports from being clogged with debris and are easily cleaned with a garden hose. Aggressive drip edge keeps water outside the car. • Precedent provides more room for entering/exiting. • Club Car offers two standard colors of canopies . Beige, White and one non standard color ,Black (added cost). • Club Car Advantages • True rear drainage • Looks great • More head room . • Offers three canopy colors

  4. DASH COMPARTMENT AND SWEATER BASKET • Dash • The Precedent Best-in-Class dash size, allows for storage of personal items away from the elements. • Flex-Drink – beverage holders, easily hold sports drinks, beer cans, and even monster drinks. • Flex-Drink holders were tested over 1 million cycles without damage. • Sweater Basket • Backbasket is 35% larger than the competition, and is enclosed for fewer lost items.

  5. SEAT AREA/ COMFORT DESIGN • Seat/ Arm Rests: The Precedent seat bottom and arm rests have been redesigned allowing for more room and comfort. • The seat bottom has been softened allowing for a more comfortable ride. • The Arm Rests have been adjusted outward ( but still stay within the vehicle) allowing more room for both the driver and passenger. • Seat wrap and steering wheel room: Club Car is best in Class in this area as it has more room from the bottom of the steering wheel to the seat bottom. There is also more leg room from the accelerator pedal to the seat wrap giving the driver a more comfortable angle when pressing the accelerator.

  6. FRONT/ REAR BODY • Club Car Advantages • 8 molded through color options • No paint or clear coat to chip or peal • Formion@ Scratch resistant body material that is durable and almost indestructible • 360 degree bumper design protects the body from all sides • Built in Scuff Guard • .

  7. Bumper system • Club Car Advantages • 9 molded through color options • No paint or clear coat to chip or peal • Formion@ Scratch resistant body material that is durable and almost indestructible • 360 degree bumper design protects the body from all sides • Built in Scuff Guard • .

  8. STEERING/SUSPENSION • Steering • Self-adjusting rack-and-pinion steering gear provides control of steering and reduces steering wheel play. • Superior steering provides the industry’s tightest clearance at 17ft 3 inches. Steering gear requires no maintenance for the life of the vehicle. • Suspension • Exclusive A-Plate independent suspension provides the industry’s smoothest ride. • Superior suspension design enhances vehicle control and tire life. • The front suspension can be adjusted for both toe-in and camber, resulting in longer tire life. Like your car the front suspension can be realigned if required , should abuse or heavy use occur. • Club Car Advantages steering • Better handling and control • Self adjusting Rack and Pinion Steering gear • Best in Class 17ft .3 inch turning radius • Club Car Advantages suspension • Toe in and Camber capability • Less tire wear • Low maintenance • Club Car is the only manufacturer that has both Toe in and Camber. • EZGO RXV, TXT, and Yamaha Drive only have toe in capability which decreases tire life. • TXT and the RXV both have 19 feet turning radius • Yamaha Drive has an 18ft 4 inch turning radius • RXV uses old technology double ended rack and pinion steering. Not self adjusting. • Yamaha Drive and the EZGO TXT, both use a similar self adjusting rack and pinion steering gear as Club Car. • Yamaha Drive has a similar front suspension A Arm design as Club Car however has no grease fittings. When service is needed it is time consuming and costly to repair. • EZGO RXV uses an independent coil over shock front suspension, TXT uses old technology, straight front axel design. Straight front axels must be replaced when damaged, the parts and labor is costly to repair. This front axel design is used on garden tractors, go carts, and was first designed on Model T Fords. Unlike the smooth independent suspension of the Club Car, the straight front axel design makes for a much rougher bouncy ride.

  9. SUSPENSION/ OFF SET WHEEL DESIGN • Club Car Advantages • Less Turf Compaction per wheel • Kinder to the turf • Overall light weight • Improved ride

  10. BRAKE SYSTEM • Club Car Advantages • Self adjusting rear drum brake design • Brake service can be made from above rather than below the vehicle. • Self adjusting multi lock hill brake system

  17. YAMAHA EFI VEHICLE

  18. SELLING AGAINST YAMAHAS EFI CAR

  19. SELLING AGAINST YAMAHAS EFI CAR My first comment is, that all Yamaha has done is put an Electronic Fuel injected engine into the same old vehicle they have had since the inception of The Drive. In order to sell against the EFI we must use the things we just talked about concerning the vehicle points but also do it with a “Tad Of Doubt Selling Technique” • I have several issues  with the MPG  information Yamaha is putting out in the field. First of all the calculator and graphs being reported were built from a company that Yamaha hired and paid to do the study. Stands to reason Yamaha will come out on top in the tests. • EFI is definitely more efficient than our present engine but the real question is just how efficient is the EFI? They claim over $700 dollars more efficient over a 4 year period but is that truly the case? • EFI also brings  with it some issues that we know already exist with the Yamaha EFI. It has a real jerky take off. The Yamaha EFI seems to work better on flat courses as it loses horse power and speed when going up steep grades compared to our vehicle. •  Interesting the mpg graph puts Club Car, Yamaha’s Largest  gas competitor rated the lowest in fuel economy. If I were Yamaha I would do the same thing as no one wants an EZGO Gas Car!! • There is no information showing how the MPG test was done by Yamaha or the company who did it. The fact is we cannot get the testing information because it is the property of Yamaha!! • Tests like this can be skewed in many ways. The fact that Yamaha paid for the test and was able to set up the vehicles on the test, you have to ask yourself, what did they do and how did they do it ??

  20. SELLING AGAINST YAMAHAS EFI CAR • As I mentioned there are many ways to Skew a test on MPG, run the Yamaha at a lower speed and lower rpm than the competitors that are set at normal speedand higher RPM. Put more air in the Yamaha Tires than the competitors, a car that rolls easier will be more efficient. Run the Yamaha straight through 18 holes of golf and run the competitors at a stop and go. A car that runs at a consistent lower rpm will be more efficient than a competitor car that has to start and stop.  Run the Yamaha on car paths only stop and start, and run the competitors on grass at a stop and start. I am sure you have other examples of what can be skewed. • I really put very little faith into these types of graphs and tests unless they were done BY AN INDEPENDENT LAB that was unsolicited to do the tests. If it wasn’t done independently then the company paying for the test has the advantage and the MPG test has to be suspect, thus the information can be skewed in Yamahas favor. • Interesting the automobile industry shows a range of MPG (Example Between 20-35 mpg) depending on terrain, driver characteristics etc etc, on all vehicles and Yamaha has the ability to put a definite MPG  number. Does this make sense??? It doesn’t. How can a customer truly believe in a definite mileage number and not a range depending on course terrain, distance and drivers characteristics?? We all know  a lousy player hitting the ball all over the course Hilly or flat, will use more fuel than a good player that hits it straight. There really should be a range average number ( like 30-35 mpg) not one  number, this in my opinion is what makes the information questionable.

  21. SUMMARY • I am not doubting the EFI is more fuel efficient than our present 11 hp. Engine. The design of  the fuel injected engine and how it operates makes it more fuel efficient than a non- fuel injected engine like ours. I go back to my first statement above, the question is how efficient is the Yamaha EFI? and how much money will a customer truly save over a 3-4 year period of time? The attachment above shows  it will cost the customer approximately $142 dollar more in fuel per year over a four year period.  This savings is based on Yamahas testing and the way they set up of our vehicle. • So with all this said  we really need to put a tad of doubt in the customers mind and question the validity of the testing and the $142 dollars per year fuel savings. If we can put a question in the customers mind the actual or perceived value savings is $75.00 dollars a car per year then we have a chance to offset this cost with the  many benefits our Precedent car will bring the customer in savings. • Dollar benefits such as  higher trade in value due to the Molded in color and the fact it is a Club Car, Longer tire wear, Tighter turning radius relates to less body damage etc. There are many more dollar benefits  that I provided in my product comparison. • To Summarize: • There are just too many variable to come up with a true MPG but we are working to come up with a range. In the Mean- time, the key is to put a “Tad of Doubt” in the customers mind that the savings may not be $142 dollars savings per year, but much less, which could allow our sales people to offset the perceived savings with the many benefits that precedent has to offer. I realize bid situations are different but it will be key with these customers that we get to the Purchasing agents first and sell them on our aluminum frame, tighter turning radius and other key selling points.
