Video Classes at UCF • Originally a broadcast model • Microwave-based video delivery system • One-way, non-interactive, time delay • Interactive TV (ITV) • Polycom videoconference systems at most regional campuses • Two-way, interactive, no time delay / recording • McGraw-Hill Tegrity lecture capture
Video Classes at UCF Today, lecture capture is supported in 2modalities: RV: face-to-face class where the majority of content is offered through the web; no more than 20% mandatory attendanceV: no face-to-face lecture, entirely web-based instruction

Going Forward • Improve faculty development to achieve greater outcomes • Scaling the service to meet UCF’s needs • Reducing the cost of integrated installations • Continued improvement of integrated installations (annotation monitors, higher resolution document cameras, etc.)
