Explanation of setup NIRSportBackpack setup &Remote Desktop Connection
Explanation of setup The NIRSport is connected to the Surface Tablet via a USB 2.0 connection. The two devices are put into the NIRSport backpack and the backpack is placed on the subject.
Explanation of setup Direct WiFi Triggers and real-time viewing The subject is connected to the NIRSport and the backpack is secured. The scientist accesses the Surface Tablet within the backpack to view all real-time information and send manual triggers (if desired).
Mobile Experiment The goal: setup a simple 8-source/8-detector montage on the motor cortex. Advanced goal: use remote desktop to wirelessly monitor recording!

The topolayout gives a simple 2D representation of the montage layout, facilitating easy viewing of channel activity. Numbering is issued with sources listed first, then detectors (e.g., 2-4 is source #2 paired with detector #4, etc.) NIRStar Topo Layout
