Pre-Writing • First, ask yourself some questions … • What is the purpose of your writing project? • Who is the audience for your writing project? • What form will your writing project take? • Letter • Poem • Short Story • Essay • Other … then brainstorm ideas!   5. Evaluating Self-evaluation: What’s working? What’s not? Will this reach my audience? How can I make it better? Am I accomplishing my purpose? Teacher/Peer Conferences: Get feedback from others! Now it’s time to publish your work.
