Definition Employment and Credential Rate Official definition: The number of Adults and Dislocated Workers who receive training services who are employed in the 1st quarter after exit and receive a credential/certificate by the end of the 3rd quarter after exit divided by the number of Adults/Dislocated Workers who exit during the quarter.

New Definition of Certificate New Definition of Certificate – July 1, 2006 • Awarded in recognition of measurable technical or occupational skills. • Based on standards developed or endorsed by employers • Does not include certificates in recognition of generic work readiness skills. • Does not include credentials awarded by local WIBs.
