Home for MICE is Bld R5.2 at RAL with dimensions: • length along the centre is about 47 m; • width is 12 m; • height is 8 m. • Floor space is about 560 m2. • The building seems to be long enough since we need about 5-6 m • for a beam line plus 22 m for the experimental set-up. • Do we have enough floor space? • It will be clear only after we know how much equipment need to be installed in the hall. • 2. Request for all the sub-system co-ordinators to provide us • with the following information: • What are the main components of the sub-system? • What is/are the largest component/s of the system, their dimensions and weight ? • How much electrical power do you need? • Do you demand compressed air , water (raw /demineralized)? • What crane capacity do you demand ? 20/05/02 I.Ivaniouchenkov, RAL
