  4. Daytime Television • Airs daily on channel 6 or the CW at 11 am • The target market is young adults to mature adults • Stereotype for viewers is “trailer trash” or hillbillies • “The Jerry Springer Show” is successful because it is still on air and has many fans

  5. Society • The Jerry Springer Show conflicts with today’s youth • Shows violence • Shows nudity • Swearing • The CW still runs this show because of all the ratings it does get • Keeps viewers entertained
