Applicant Requirements • 18 years of age or older • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college • 30 semester hours above elementary level classes • 24 semester hours of general business subjects • Two continuous experience in public accounting firm • Five continuous experience in accounting industry • Pass a written exam

Preparation • Employers require a high school diploma • Math, Economics, Computer Science, English, data processing • Four-year college degree in accounting • Internships and experience are helpful • Knowledge of accounting principles and methods • Ability to operate business machines and computers • Able to Prepare reports

  12. Conclusion I have learned a lot about this job, and I am still very interested in going into this profession. The starting salary is low, but as long as you keep getting more education and work your way on up the chain, the more money you will earn.
