Exchange on TaLe • Shared resources, quality resources? • The quality of most resources discovered through TaLe derives from the authority of the producing body, CLI, TAFE Online Library, Curriculum Centres, etc • TaLe is also a place to share resources developed by non-specialists, at grass-roots, while maintaining reputation for reliability of resources discovered through TaLe. Resource Sharing Communities • A Resource Sharing Community can be: • a trusted group of known participants • or open to all of TAFE and DET staff • or changed from the first to the second at the Community’s choosing. • Any participating teacher can: • upload a resource • receive feedback in a discussion • obtain support for the quality of a resource from peers TaLE ICVET v.100
Communicate on TaLe • Professional Learning Communities • Professional Learning Communities have a “Learning Goal” • A PLC discussion is presented in a supportive context, a home area for orientation, and the Key Readings and Additional resources pages. • Moderators manage all their own content and members. • Login is via the DET Portal and TaLe, with no further registration or login required from DET staff. • External guests can easily be registered.
