Personal Accident Insurance - IMES • OPERATIVE TIME OF COVER: whilst an insured person is engaged in any activity organised by the IMES including, call-outs, exercises/training and travel to and/or from such IMES organised activities. • EXCESS: this is the first amount of each claim that will be deducted by insurers when settling the claim. • CLAIMS: must be notified to insurers via your Area Officer within 60 days of the incident, in order to avoid repudiation of the claim. Claims forms are available from your Area Officer. • Policy Document: is available at IMES Headquarters for inspection.
