  2. PARCC Testing Overview What is PARCC? When do SHES students take PARCC? How can I help prepare my child to do their best?

  3. The Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) is a group of states working together to develop a set of assessments that measure whether students are on track to be successful in college and careers.

  5. How can I help my child prepare? Before the Test • Read each night and discuss what they read. • Practice basic math facts. • Use the Released Items on the PARCC Website to review and practice together. Morning of the Test • Get a good night’s sleep prior to testing days • Eat a healthy breakfast with protein • Be positive and remind your child to do their best.
