This project aims to develop a GIS tool for visualizing interactions between land use and transportation, aiding decision-making and public involvement in transit planning. Data collection includes various sources like Miami-Dade County, FDOT, and USGS. The software prototype includes functions for querying land use, socio-economic, and transportation information, as well as evaluating development scenarios and visualizing transportation project sites. Future work involves improving presentation with photos and videos, studying the link between GIS and FSUTMS, and adding decision support functions.
