Therefore, when you have to pick a team to bet, you cannot simply rely on the betting advice or the betting tips given by the experts, but have to exercise your sensibility. Here are the pros and cons of betting on your sports team: Pros The best thing about betting on your sports team is that you know your team better than anyone else. Moreover, because you know so much about your team, you are in a good position to take appropriate decision regarding whether to bet on it or not taking into consideration factors like players, their playing status, injuries, past history and other things.

Cons The only problem with betting on your team is when it is on the losing side and you are too emotional to detach yourself. You might be having a team as your favorite but that does not mean that you have to bet on it each time despite knowing that they have been losing recently for one reason or another. Therefore, when choosing a team or side to bet, it always helps to be unemotional. Choose a team after much research so that you are always on the winning side.
