  7. Hauwai / Hydrogen Put a small ribbon of Magnesium in it

  8. Hauwai / Hydrogen Cover with laboratory strength Sulphuric/Sulfuric (Battery) Acid

  9. Hauwai / Hydrogen Put in the bung and delivery hose

  10. Hauwai / Hydrogen Wait while the gas bubbles push the water out of the first boiling tube

  11. Hauwai / Hydrogen When the water is gone…

  12. Hauwai / Hydrogen …Remove the bung and delivery hose …and the boiling tube with the reactants

  13. Hauwai / Hydrogen Put a cork in and put the boiling tube of gas to one side so you can use it later

  15. Hauwai / Hydrogen This tube has Hydrogen gas in it and it is now ready to be tested. Hydrogen gas is lighter than air so leave the boiling tube stored upside down.##
