Main objectives of this Intensive program • To improve the quality and increase the volume of students and teaching staff mobilitythroughout Europe; • To improve the quality and to increase the volume of multilateralcooperationbetweenhighereducation institutions in Europe; • To increase the degree of transparancy and compatibility betweenhighereducation and advancedvocationaleducation qualifications gained in Europe;

Main objectives of this Intensive program • To improve the quality and to increase the volume of cooperationbetweenhighereducation institutions and enterprises; • To facilitate the development of innovative practices in education and training in a tertiarylevel, and theirtransfer, includingfrom one participating country to others.

  4. Main objectives of this Intensive program: HOW? This intensive program willmeet the predefined objectives by: • Rassemblingstudentsfromdifferent institutions and heightningtheirawareness to mobility; • Intensifying the quality of international engagement of the differentpartners by exchanging good practices and teachingmethods;

  5. Main objectives of this Intensive program: HOW? • Reinforcing the collaboration with the hospitals; • Providinghospitalswith futur healthcareworkers more educated and more open to respect of patients rights; • Permitting the participants to be more aware of interculturality.

  6. Description of the project The Intensive Program will permit to heigthen a multinational group of students and teachers to the respect of the european patients rightschart by exchanging on practices enforced in each of the participating countries. It will permit to evaluate the suitability of practices held in eachparticipating country (Belgium, Spain, Finland, Switzerland).

  7. Description of the project Presentations by experts, multicultural and interdisciplinaryworkgroups and experiences exchanges willenhance: • The knowledges of the teachersregarding patients rights respect and application in Europe; • The knowledges of students, betterprepared and sensitized to enter the workmarket.

  8. Methodology The pedagogical and educationalapproaches are: • Invitation of experts: for ex: association of healthcare institutions mediators; • Workgroups with PBL methodin English; • Meetings withhealthcarepractitioners; • Internet research; • A final report produced by eachworkgroupwillbepresentedat the end of the program. A CD-Rom of all reports and pictureswillbegiven to eachpartner; • Program willbecreditedwith 5 ECTS.

  9. Studentsselection Eachpartnerisresponsible for the selection of itsownstudents! Concernedstudents must send a coveringlettertellingwhatistheirinterest in participating. The knowledge of English ismandatory! An interview must beconductedwith the interestedstudents. Eachpartnerisinvited to provide 3 students and 1 teacher in physiotherapy, 3 students and 1 teacher in nursing.
