2. Bertha Mills • Mrs. Bertha Mills is tall very pretty dresses up most of the time and has long hair. • She is also very strict and she has really good manners. She is a mother of two children one girl and one boy. Her husband is in World War two in the story and is rarely home. She also goes by Bertha. She has to have all doors closed and all blinds closed.

3. Grace • Grace is Bertha’s daughter . • She is about nine years old she is very kind and has to have everything just so and is very bossy. • She has dirty blonde hair and wears a dress every day and always wears ballet shoes. • She gets scared easily. • She can’t have light on her or she can’t look at light or otherwise she will die.

4. Nicholas • Nicholas is Bertha’s son. He is short and he always wears what ever his mother picks out for him. He is bossy and thinks that he knows everything. He also is a suck up to his mom. He never gets in trouble because he starts crying when he does get in trouble. He can not see light or be touched by light and if he is he will die.

5. Anne • Is a maid she is tall about thirteen. She is the granddaughter of Lydia and Mr. Edmud Tuttle. She can not talk or show any emotions. Something happened to her when she was little but I still don’t know what happened to her. She is also Bertha’s maid. She is one of the main enemies in the story.

6. Lydia • Lydia is the maid of Bertha. She is the main maid out of Anne herself or Mr. Emud. She is very sneaky and snoopy. She is the enemy in the story. She is very good at lying and exaggerating things like if she forgot to d o something and then she would exaggerate what happened to her.

7. Edmud Tuttle • Mr. Edmud Tuttle likes to be called Mr. Edmud. • He is the gardener for Bertha. He doesn’t talk that much unless he wants something. He is also the enemy in the story. He is good at covering up what he has done. He is tall old and wears an old gray tux to work.
