Class Goals • Increase knowledge of evidence based sites on the web to provide health information for Oakland Public Library patrons. • Increase knowledge of all Library personnel so quality information could be found at any time in the Library.

Subject Classes • Nutrition-disease specific information or information of common foods. • Family Health focused on locating web sites by age group or sex. • Toxicology-showcasing ToxNet ToxMystery and ToxTown.
Lessons Learned • Two platforms/web sites for searching • Maximum of six web sites evaluated • Current event topics for examples • Consumer instruction not effective in class situation
