  2. Institutional roles (1) The Ministry of Regional Development and Housing (former Ministry of Development, Public Works and Housing) contracted the works for 151 education units. The value of the 37 contracte undergoing implementation is 44.864.281 Euros. The conference of Phare TVET RO 2006/ 018-147.04.01.02.01.03.01. Project , 13th – 16th of May 2009

  3. Institutional roles (2) The Agencies for Regional Development are Project Implementation Units (PIU). The PIU also includes the County School Inspectorates. Considering that at this moment the works are in the warranty period, it is the obligation of the County School Inspectorates and of the education unit to monitor the works in the warranty period. Stage of rehabilitation works (1) Annex I – “Situation of final work receipts on the 30th of April 2009 - PHARE TVET 2004” presents the education units that benefited from rehabilitation works / building laboratories and school workshops within the Phare TVET 2004 programme.   5. Stage of rehabilitation works (2) The works were finalized in the period March 2008 – November 2008. Status of the works (1) Should there be problems in the warranty period for the works performed by constructors (i.e.: cracks in floors, plasters, rain water floods through the roof / terraces, burst pipes, etc.) the education units/ School Inspectorates are asked to inform in writing the problems that occurred and to send to both addresses : The conference of Phare TVET RO 2006/ 018-147.04.01.02.01.03.01.   9. EDUCATION UNITS REHABILITATED WITH MERI A BUDGET (exceptional cases)

  10. During the tender organized by MRDH, the works could not been contracted for 12 education units. For 3 e.u. (from the PHARE TVET 2004 programme) MRDH terminated the contract. The conference of Phare TVET RO 2006/ 018-147.04.01.02.01.03.01. Project , 13th – 16th of May 2009

Annex II – “Situation of the education units in Phare TVET 2004 rehabilitated with MERI budget on the 7th of May 2009” presents the 15 education units that benefited from MERI funds, as well as the status of the works.   12. For these e.u., the rehabilitation works/ building laboratories and school workshops are financed from the MERI budget (GD 454 / 2007, GD 919 / 2007, GD 370 / 2008).

  13. Within the e.u. where works have yet to be finalized, there are efforts made to finalize them because the e.u. received equipments for the basic training (PHARE TVET 2005 programme) and are to receive specialized equipments (PHARE TVET 2006 programme).
