  2. Katrina Response Resources • AST and PST deployed to LA • 33 personnel • Large pump load • Flood load • Flood punts • Hazmat load • All GST personnel and equipment were focused on operations in AL and MS

  3. Katrina Operations in Louisiana • Original focus was to support Command and Control for Search and Rescue Operations • Embedded into existing ICS structure • Assisted with logistical and planning support • By 4 Aug, SAR was ending and focus shifted to pollution operations • Most NSF assets moved to Baton Rouge to begin oil recovery ops
