Come backstage for a brief history of how it all began for Avenged Sevenfold Avenged Sevenfold used to play metal core, but has recently eased up into playing a more melodic, duel guitar focused, alternative metal sound. Biography of Synyster Gates Brian Haner “Synyster Gates” was born on July 7 1981. He is the lead guitarist and backup vocalist in Avenged Sevenfold. He is currently 29 and lives resides in Huntington Beach, California. His father was also a studio guitarist and professional comedian. He also went to college for playing the guitar at GIT.

It also is different than most of their songs because its mainly piano. Also, its mood is creative and interestingly eerie.
