  5. Biography of Eddie Van Halen Edward Lodewijk Van Halen plays lead guitar in the world famous rock band Van Halen. His birthday is January 26, 1955 and is currently 60 years old. His family is from The Netherlands and the band consists of his brother Alex and his son Wolfgang. Eddie’s favorite thing to do is hang out with his brother Alex.
