Final parts are known to have quality surface finishes, highly consistent mechanical properties, and finer feature resolution when compared to other 3D printing technologies, such as SLS (selective laser sintering). Here’s a guide to help you learn more about it: How it works MJF stands for ‘Multi Jet Fusion’ and it uses an inkjet array to selectively apply the detailing and fusing agents across a bed of nylon powder. The powder is then fused by heating elements to create a solid layer. After every layer, the powder is distributed on top of the bed. The process is repeated until the object is complete. After building, the whole powder bed and encapsulated parts are moved to the processing station where an integrated vacuum will remove the loose powders. The parts will be bead-blasted to eliminate any residual powder before they go to the finishing department.
