  4. DO NOW: • * Have you or do you know personally anyone that has gotten into trouble by positing a picture online/sending a text or picture? What were the negative effects as a result of your actions/the person’s actions?

What steps can people take to keep their digital footprint clean? Use information from the article “Don’t Track in Dirt With Your Digital Footprint” and examples from your own experience. • There are over 1.5 billion Web surfers worldwide, and photos and videos can reach millions within seconds. • Our digital footprint, which includes the content available about us online, (including texts, photographs, audio, and video) can be traceable and permanent.

  13. Introduction Paragraph- General Statement • Example: • Over 1.5 people surf the web worldwide, so pictures and videos can reach millions of people within seconds. A digital footprint includes all of the information available about a person online, and it is traceable and permanent.
