ISSUES: • Above 2 mw, LiH absorber starts melting at center (attached pdf file of calculation) • Decrease in conductivity with increasing temperature puts more resistance for heat flow. • Current design shows that heat transfer takes place only along radial direction3
SOLUTION: • Decreasing outside temperature: (attached excel sheet) • Passing law pressure gas between LiH absorber to cool LiH. (attached fig.) Since hellium and hydrogen both are ideal candidate for ionization cooling
