2. We opened” A mail corner “in our class with envelops and cards. We gave the children square stickers and they used them as stamps. We also gave them pencils and pens and we had a real American mail box on the table . פתחנו בכיתה פינת דואר ובה מעטפות וניירות וכרטיסי ברכה. נתנו לילדים סטיקרים מרובעים ששמשו אותם בתור בולים וכמובן עפרונות ועטים. אפילו תיבת דואר אמריקאית הייתה לנו על השולחן

4. A few days before the holiday, we visited the Post office and the children sent their Rosh Hashanah cards to their parents. We bought real stamps and every child glued his stamp to the card. After that, we mailed the cards. The children learnt how the mail really works . כמה ימים לפני החג עשינו טיול לדואר ושם הילדים שלחו את אגרות הברכה שהם הכינו להורים. קנינו בולים אמיתיים וכל ילד שם על המעטפה ואחר כך זרקנו את המכתבים לתיבה. בדואר למדו הילדים כיצד ואיך מגיעים המכתבים אלינו הביתה מהרגע שהם נזרקים לתיבה שבקיר.

5. לקראת החג מתאמנים הילדים בתקיעה בשופר Practicing the Shofar playing for the holiday

6. אופים עוגות דבש לתת למשפחות לכבוד החג Baking honey cakes for the parents, as part of the holiday activities

7. הילדים הכינו צנצנות של דבש מצנצנות של אוכל לתינוקות. צבעו אותם בצהוב ואח"כ שמו סרט בידוד שחורעל חצי כדור של קצף קשיח ,שהודבק על המכסה ונצבע בשחור ,הדביקו הילדים עיניים וממנקה מקטרות הכינו משושים The children prepared honey jars from babies food jars. They colored the jars, and glued black bands. On a half foam ball,black they glued eyes and other parts of the bee and used it as a jar cap

8. הילדים מילאו את הצנצנות בדבש ונתנו להורים לכבוד החג The children filled the jars with honey and gave it to their parents as a holiday present

9. תלינו תיבת דואר מקופסת קורנפלס מחוץ לכיתה וההורים שמו בפנים אגרות ברכה לחג בערב החג פתחנו את הקופסא וחילקנו לכל ילד את איגרת הברכה מהמשפחה שלו We prepared a mail box from a Corn flex box and hung it outside our class for the parents to put their Rosh Hashanah cards. At the evening of the holiday , we opened the box and gave each child a card from his family
