  2. Ilias Atwani is an alumnus of Laval University who also attended a preparatory class for engineering school at the Institut Polytechnique privé de Casablanca. He is currently a candidate for the Executive Master of Business Administration course at the same university. Ilias is currently working for the 2016 Grand Prize-winning company. He has previous experience of working as an intern in the mining engineering department of a reputed firm. Introduction to Ilias

Featured tasks Ilias Used to Perform as an Intern Ilias Atwani was required to perform the following featured tasks as an intern in the mining engineering department of a reputed firm: • Surveying underground and surface (DDH drills alignment for Bracemac-Mcleod exploration Project) • Short-term underground mine planning & operating sequence - Open Stope (Long Hole) • Volumetric reconciliation & adjustment of blasted roc quantities • OverBreak & UnderBreak calculations using AutoCAD® (Promine)

Ilias’ Obsession with Photography • Ilias Atwani has this undying passion for photography and won the photography contest called ’20 Years of Engagement’ organized by his company. • The picture clicked by him was also submitted to another contest called PwC’s The Art of Mining contest and emerged as the winning picture there as well. • Ilias, along with the second-place winner was rewarded with a personalized tour of two local Inuit villages Salluit and Kangiqsujuaq.
