IliasAtwani: An Introduction • IliasAtwaniis an experienced Mining Engineer who is currently working for a leading firm in thegold mining business. • Before he started working here, Ilias was associated with a British-Swissmultinational commodity trading and mining company for more than 6 years as an intern in theMining Engineering Department. • He graduated from the Laval University and is currently enrolled here in an executive MBA program.

Ilias’ Experience Working for the Commodity Trading Company • During his tenure at this British-Swiss commodity trading company, IliasAtwaniused to manage: • Establishment of weekly schedules & planning • Volumetric reconciliation & adjustment of excavated and blasted roc quantities • Issuance of drilling, loading and blasting plans • 3D design & Survey data processing (Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD, 3DReshaper) • Involvement & effective contribution in the Tailing storage management • Monitoring the ore/waste quantities & monitoring plans issuance

More About IliasAtwani • Ilias holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Sciences from the Prince MlyAbdallah High School – Casablanca. • He started his professional journey back in the year 2008 and as an intern in the Mining Engineering department of a reputed company in Meknes, Morocco. • Ilias interned with this company for 3 months and used to assist operators underground in their daily activities, handle and get familiar with the equipment used underground under the supervision of foremen and operators. He also got to learn underground supervising.
