Ministry Vision • What do you see? • How does it happen? • When does it happen? • Do others see what you see? The vision and goals must be set. Then you go back and see how effective you were in meeting those goals.
How do you measure success? • Numbers do not lie! Neither should we! • Who are the stakeholders? • Membership • Non-members • Community and Civic Groups • County/State/Federal Agencies • Assessments from the stakeholders • Surveys • Interviews • Focus Groups • Observation
The Truth About Measured Success • What gets measured, gets done. • If you don’t measure results, you can’t tell success from failure. • If you can’t see success, you can’t reward it. • If you are not rewarding success, you are rewarding failure. • If you can demonstrate results from the past, you will gain support for the future.
