The Elizabethan era was in between 1558 and 1603. • The Elizabethan era was very much like our own society in the way that there were the rich, and there were the poor. • The way they treated it was very different then we do now though.
Food preperations • In the time of Elizabeth the food and drink varied according to status and wealth. • Elizabethans enjoyed having lots of colours, strange shapes and props with there food preparations. • When preparing the food knives, ladles, meatforks and scissors were often used.
Drink • Water was not clean during the Elizabethan Era so they had to drink wine and ale. • Lower Classes drank ale while the upper classes drank both wine and ale. • The Upper Classes usually took the ale so they lower classes drank ale but usually got creative and started adding berries and peppers to add different flavours
The Quantity and quality of food eaten by the Upper Class was way different from the lower class. Upper Classes and lower classes • The Lower Classes had way better health then the Upper Classes because of there diet.
