HONG KONG TIGHTENS GRIPS FOR INDIAN VISITOR Hong Kong have restricted and tightened the entry of Indians that they will be require a successful complete online pre arrival registration before visiting to Hong Kong visa free from January 23,2017. The entry of asylum seekers has been rising to a huge peak to the entry of Hong Kong. Currently it has been found that Indian nationals are allowed to visit Hong Kong for a stay up for 14 days. It is mainly effective from January 23rd 2017. It is applicable for the Indians that they should successfully complete the pre arrival registration.

There were much opposition mainly from the Indian business parties and Indian political parties which opposed the pre-registration plan and some government friendly parties in Hong Kong have been making a big issue over it claiming and saying that government is spending a fortune to look after the refugees. Hong Kong immigration includes records about 46% of claimants that smuggled into Hong Kong where about 47% of the visitors entered but did not bothered to leave Hong Kong before their limit of stay to Hong Kong expired.
