  7. Teacher Attitudes I am devoted to my students and the Stoughton Public Schools. The unsettled teachers’ contract has a negative effect on morale.   The unsettled teachers’ contract has caused me to consider seeking employment in another school district.   99% Agree 95.8% Agree 54.1% Agree

The school committee’s primary objective should be to settle a fair contract with teachers.  The school committee should partner with the teachers to further the interests of our schools rather than fight against the teachers. School committee member Dr. Erdem Ural questioned at Tuesday night’s committee meeting whether the turnover of teachers in the district was too high.”
