  4. LOOKING TO GOD FOR LOVE People have many definitions of what love really is. But the fact of the matter is that God is the only one who can define what love really is. We may want to look at the way the world defines love. But in the end, we get a superficial answer. But God can. Why? Because God is love.

  5. Biblical Love Loving Others Loving God As basic as that sounds—loving God is the most important thing Jesus says that we should be doing. The word love is found all throughout the Bible and represents a foundational truth of the Christian faith. God clearly calls us to love others without qualification. We are not worthy of God’s love and yet he loves us.

LOVING OTHERS UNCONDITIONALLY Paul tells the Ephesian church in Chapter 4 of his epistle to them to walk, “with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Loving others will help us to bear with them even in the midst of sin and brokenness, living alongside them in peace.
