Highlighted information seeking behavior research of Dania Bilal Tested databases Newsbank Novel LexisNexis 39 out of 40 students or 98% use Google for their main source of information After using the online tutorial 10 out of 40 or 25% reported they would use databases in the future Prior to using the online tutorial, 32 out of 40 students or 80% reported they did not understand what a database was After using the online tutorial, 20 out of 40 or 50% now understand the definition of a database 30 out of 40 students or 75% reported the online tutorial was helpful in providing information about the various databases Research and Results
