Who is NaCOC? NaCOC – National Club Operations Council The recognized umbrella body of Uniform Ministry in the South Caribbean Conference as voted by the Conference Executive Committee
Officers of NaCOC • Appointed by Youth Director: Chair • Elected by National Advisories: Vice Chair, Secretary, Assistant Secretary • Ex-Officio by Regional Advisories: Uniform Coordinators (3 per Region) • Elected by Marching Band Association: MBA Chairperson • Appointed by NaCOC: 1IC, 2IC, RSM
Length of Office Two (2) years Subject to the Conference Administrators
Function of NaCOC To act on behalf on the Youth Department of the South Caribbean Conference in the area of uniform club operations and represent the Youth Director in the fulfillment of the objective(s) in accordance with the policy of the organized Seventh-day Adventist church through the following means:
Implementing programs as listed on the South Caribbean Conference Adventist Youth calendar and to assist regions in implementing such programs. • To ensure the smooth functioning of the Regional Uniform Councils. • To conduct training programs in regions in conjunction with the Regional Advisory Coordinators.
d) To conduct the business of the uniform programs as directed / requested by the Youth Director of the South Caribbean Conference. e) To protect the integrity of every aspect of the Club’s Ministry. f) To make recommendation regarding the overall development / enhancement of Uniform Club ministry.
Examination Council • 3 representatives per Region • Elected in accordance with NaCOCconstitution. • Regional coordinators & assistants cannot serve on the examination council.
Function of Examination Council • Review and adjust all tests and or evaluation instruments to maintain and maximize the intent of the evaluation.
Plan for examinations as recommended by regional coordinators by securing appropriate test centers, adequate supervision at the centers and adequate test papers for each center. • Inform the Youth Department of the requests for evaluations, upon receipt from regional coordinators.
Correct all test papers or evaluation workbooks and make recommendations to theYouth Director based on the results. • Forward all PLA, Master Guide and AY candidates to the Youth Director for interview appointments.
