What? • Combination sight-seeing and skiing trip • Two days in the medieval city of Salzburg - First visit after arrival; second visit mid-week • Five days in the Austrian Alps - Four full days’ worth of skiing and one half ski/half travel day
Where? • Etihad Airways flight from Dammam to Munich, Germany. • Coach trips provided to Salzburg, Austria. • Coach trips provided to St. Michael imLungau, Austria
St. Michael Skiing Includes: • Five day local lift passes • Ski instructor provided on an 8:1 ratio • Ski jacket and pants rental pack • Ski goggles, gloves, socks, and hat rental pack • Skis, boots, poles, and helmet rental pack • Dedicated representative/translator • Travel & Medical Insurance
Salzburg Sight-seeing Includes: • Hohensalzburg Fortress • Traditional Bavarian-style lunch • Altstadt (Old Town), a UNESCO World Heritage Site • Choice of tourism opportunities, including: • Salzburg Cathedral • Museum of Modern Art • Residenz Art Gallery • Mirabell Palace • Altstadt shopping (of course!)

The cold is probably the most dangerous part of this trip, so please take this seriously. • Passport with valid Schengen visa, if necessary • Any additional insurance & medicine, if necessary • Passport and visa photocopies kept at home • Camera • Phone & Tablet with relevant apps, if desired • Spending money? Important Dates: • October 9th- Parent Information Night #1 • October - Begin visa process. This is the parent’s responsibility. • November 7th - Second payment due (50%) • December 5th - Final payment due (50%) • January - Parents to pick up GR travel letter and submit contact information. • January 29th- Parent Information Night #2 • February 13th- Drop students off at DHS at 17:00. • February 21st- Collect students from DHS at 12:00
