Say: We believe in God and that which is revealed unto us and that which was revealed unto Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the tribes, and that which was given to Moses and Jesus and the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and unto Him we have surrendered as Muslims. (3:84) قل آمنا بالله وما أنزل علينا وما أنزل على ابراهيم واسماعيل واسحاق ويعقوب والأسباط وما أوتي موسى وعيسى والنبيون من ربهم لا نفرق بين أحدّ منهم ونحن له مسلمون(آل عمران: 84) All of Prophets!

  13. Say: God, the One and Only. God, the Satisfier of all needs. Neither born, nor giving birth, And there is none like God who is unique. (112) قل هو الله أحد الله الصمد لم يلد ولم يولد ولم يكن له كفوا أحد. (الإخلاص:1-4) The One God!

  16. We verily created man and We know what his soul wispereth to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein. (50: 15) ولقد خلقنا الإنسان ونعلم ما توسوس به نفسه نحن أقرب إليه من حبل الوريد. (ق:15) Closer than one’s self!

  17. Your Lord has decreed, that you worship none save God, and that you show kindness to your parents. If one of them or both attain to old age with you, say not “Fie” unto them nor repulse them, but speak unto them a gracious word. And lower unto them the wings of humility through mercy, and say: my Lord, have mercy on them as they did care for me when I was little. (17:23-24) وقضى ربك ألا تعبدوا إلا إياه وبالوالدين إحسانا إما يبلغن عندك الكبر أحدهما أو كلاهما فلا تقل لهما أف ولا تنهرهما وقل لهما قولا كريما. واخفض لهما جناح الذل من الرحمة وقل ربّ ارحمهما كما ربياني صغيرا. (الإسراء:23-24) Who comes just after God?

  20. There is no god but God, Muhammad is the messenger of God لا إله إلا الله محمد رسولالله The Shahadah (Testimony):

  21. The Faith (Iman): • The Oneness of God • God’s Angels • God’s Books • God’s Messengers • The Hereafter

  22. Yet they say: why are not signs sent down to him from his Lord? Say: I am indeed a clear Warner and is it not enough for them that We have sent down to thee the book which is rehearsed to them. Verily in it is mercy and a reminder to those who believe (29: 50-51) وقالوا لولا أنزل عليه آيات من ربه قل إنما الآيات عند الله وإنما أنا نذير مبين. أولم يكفهم أنا أنزلنا عليك الكتاب يتلى عليهم إن في ذلك لرحمة وذكرى لقوم يؤمنون(العنكبوت: 50-51) The miracle!

  23. Say: travel in the land, and see how God originated creation, then God brings forth the other life, God is able to do all things (29: 20) قل سيروا في الأرض فانظروا كيف بدأ الخلق ثم الله ينشئ النشأة الآخرة إن الله على كل شيء قدير (العنكبوت: 20) The Open Book

  24. We shall show them our signs on the horizon, and within themselves until it manifest to them that it is the truth.. (41: 53) سنريهم آياتنا في الآفاق وفي أنفسهم حتى يتبين لهم أنه الحق أولم يكف بربك أنه على كل شيء شهيد (فصلت: 53)

  26. O mankind, We have created you male and female, and appointed you races and tribes, that you may know one another. Surely the noblest among you in the sight of God is the most conscious. God is All-knowing, All-Aware. (49: 13) يا أيها الناس إنـّا خلقناكم من ذكر وأنثى وجعلناكم شعوبا وقبائل لتعارفوا إن أكرمكم عند الله أتقاكم إن الله عليم خبير (الحجرات: 13) Qur’an on Humanity:

  28. There is a piece of flesh in the body. If it is sound, the entire body is sound. If it is unsound, the entire body is unsound. It is the heart. إن في الجسد لمضغة، إن صلحت صلح الجسد كله، وإن فسدت فسد الجسد كله، ألا وهي القلب.

  29. Two blessings most people undervalue them; health and free time نعمتان مغبون فيهما كثير من الناس الصحة والفراغ

  30. Every child is born in a state of (Fitra) good nature كل مولود يولد على الفطرة

  31. Paradise is at mothers’ feet الجنة تحت أقدام الأمهات Where is Paradise?

Who so ever goes out seeking knowledge, God facilitates his/her way to paradise, And the angels put down their wings in appreciation for the one who is learning. من سلك طريقا يلتمس فيه علما سهل الله له طريقا إلى الجنة، وإن الملائكة لتضع أجنحتها لطالب العلم رضا بما صنع. The Prophet & knowledge:

  33. The 5 pillars of Islam: • Testimonies (Tawheed) • Prayer (Salah) • Almsgiving (Zakah) • Fasting Ramadan (Saum) • Pilgrimage (Hajj)

  34. The 5 daily prayer: • Fajer (dawn) • Zuhur (midday) • Aser (mid-afternoon) • Maghreb (after sunset) • Isha’a (nightfall)

  35. Pay Zakah • 2.5 % of savings • Every year • Minimum amount (£1000) • Minimum duration (a year) • For any good cause

  36. Fasting: • Between first light and sundown • Entire lunar month (29-30) • Adults • In good health • Abstain: food, drink, sex • Vices, lying, backbiting… • Time for more charity • Ends with Eid Al-Fitr
