Identified students will likely need additional or alternative forms of instruction to supplement universal instruction.
One Assessment With 2 Purposes Universal Screener Common Assessment The data derived from the Universal Screener will inform our instructional decisions for ALL students. • Universal screening data , provided by classroom teacher, reveals which students that may be academically at risk. These “flagged” students should receive further diagnostic work from the Reading Specialist. The Screener is to find a singular piece of data about what a student needs.
