For example in Judaism and Islam it is sacrilege to eat pork, therefore in order for menus to be inclusive and sensitive to cultural differences, there needs to be meals available that are free from all pork products • Staff meals should be conscious of religious and cultural dietary requirements
As a manager it is your responsibility to be aware of the various social and cultural expectations of staff, colleagues and customers and conduct your practices in a manner that promotes respect for diversity
