  3. 2005 IEEE Fellow Nominations A total of 16 nominees from RAS membership were received by IEEE. The largest number of nominations the Society has ever had. The election results will be announced in November.

  4. IEEE Robotics and Automation Award 2005 award recipient Seiuenmon Inaba (non-IEEE member) Honorary Chairman, FANUC LTD. Citation For long standing leadership and technical contributions to the development of numerical control machines, industrial robots, and flexible factory automation.
