  3. KTEH FAQ In 2006, the KTEH Foundation and KQED, Inc. merged to create Northern California Public Broadcasting (NCPB) in a significant move to consolidate the strengths of public broadcasting in the Bay Area.

  5. KTEH Membership Basic membership starts at $40 and includes a year of Preview, our monthly program guide. Senior Citizen level is $25 All contributions of $40 or more ($25 for Senior Citizens) include a year's subscription to our monthly program guide, Preview. Employer, or spouse's employer, may match your donation to KTEH.

Remember: When referring callers to Member Services be certain to provide them with Hours of Operation. KTEH Member Services is available Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm PST

KTEHGift Selection “Would you like to receive a Thank You Gift or would you like for your entire donation to go to KTEH?” If caller would like to receive a Thank You Gift ask “Which program are you watching?” and select from list. If caller opts to donate without receiving a gift simply click here in this screen. This will take you to the Address Capture area of the script.

  10. KTEH If caller protests the shipping charge you may click here to remove. “A $4 shipping charge will be added.” There are also options to remove and change gifts in this area. Verify, verify, verify! Verify that you have selected the correct gift.

  11. KTEH Billing and Shipping VERIFY Be sure to get a phone number. If caller declines, enter 999-999-9999. *As always a phone number is a must for tickets.* “Is your billing address the same as your shipping address?” Capture billing address as well as shipping, if different.

  12. KTEH Payment Options Checks and Money Orders are welcome when processing pledges for KTEH. (This includes ticket pledges.) To process as a check or money order choose Bill Me as the Method of Payment. If a caller is only wanting the address to be able to send in a check, please let them know that you would like to capture their information, to reserve their gift choice for them.

  14. KTEHAdditional Information “Are you watching the pledge programming on Cable or Over the Air?” Be sure to select answer in the drop-down menu. Comments Remember to omit any unnecessary comments. Only comments which would require the station to take action would be appropriate. KTEH prefers that Members wanting to become a continuing (sustaining) member, do so through Member Services. Be sure to select the appropriate drop-down.

  15. KTEHOperator Information Enter your initials here. Choose ACD from the drop-down. Make sure NO is selected here. This is not a test pledge. Verify everything BEFORE clicking here!

  16. KTEH Closing Screen An easy closing, in this case the caller was invoiced. Simply read: You’ll receive a confirmation letter within a week. If you requested a Thank You Gift for your contribution, it will arrive within 6-8 WEEKS, although it may arrive much sooner. Thank you for supporting KTEH. Smile! It’s your business!

  17. KTEH Ticket Pledges KTEH allows for Credit Card OR Check payments for tickets. Pledge may be in one payment or twelve monthly installments. (If caller wishes to make fewer installments, please add details to the comments.) Gifts will be sent in 6-8 weeks (unless otherwise stated, ie. 2 wks before the event) regardless of payment installment preference.

  18. KTEH Shipping Policy Shipping rate is $4.00; if caller protests, you can remove it. Generally, it takes from 6 to 8 weeks after the station records your pledge payment (or first installment for installment pledges). If caller is concerned about a previous pledge gift, please refer them to Member Services at 408-795-5411 or to email member@kteh.org.
