Physical Characteristics • Males were about 5’10” and Females were about 5’1” • Long gradually sloping foreheads, somewhat flat at the front and back. • Short wide faces with noses projected forward • Thick brow ledges • Believed to have experienced heavy physical exertion
Similarities with us • Similar skeleton to modern man, also clearly heavily muscled like me. • Close to similar heights • Homo erectus humans look a lot like gorillas
