The “Holy Spiritual Capital of India”, Varanasi is located on the banks of river Ganga. The ancient city is a symbol of life, death, and rebirth. To the city’s spiritual importance, the Ganges were believed to have the ability to wash off all one’s sins and give moksha (freedom from the cycle of birth and death).
