Centres of Expertise and VET Kenniscentrum Handel is a National Centre of Expertise (17 centres for over 40 branches) Centres of Expertise bringtogethercompanies, labourmarket, and vocationaleducation and training Sector Trade: retail, wholesale and international trade and Fashion and Textile production sector Keytasks Development and maintenance of National Vocational Qualifications & accreditation of work places
Facts and figures In general in secondary vocational education: • 237 Qualification files • Over 630.000 students - 483.000 VET students • 70 training centers (ROC’s) • 17 national centers of expertise • Over 200.000 training companies • Trade Sector • 40.000 students / 29.000 training companies
Qualification structure Based on 3 elements: • Involvement of employers, employees and educational institutes (legally established) • Qualifications are based on competences • A fixed set of 25 competencies same structure and lay out for all qualification files
Qualification Dossier The Qualification Dossier consists of the whole Qualification Profile plus all source documents and referential documents A: general description B: core of the QP→ OCW C: elaboration of the QP D: source documents
