Ch. 7: Analyzing Consumer Markets and Buyer Behavior Consumer Behavior (Engel, Kollat, & Blackwell): Those acts of individuals directly involved in obtaining and using goods and services, including the decision processes that precede and determine these acts. How do consumers make buying decisions?
Consumer Behavior Models • Consumer Processing Models (CPM): Consumer behavior is rational, highly cognitive, systematic, and reasoned. (e.g., EKB Model) • Hedonic, Experiential Models (HEM): consumer behavior is driven by fun, fantasies, and feelings.

What should the responsibilities of the educators be in these situations?
